How can I tell you mmm... that me and my mom have kinda strong bond -- I mean, somehow we ( me and my mom) could understand and know what we want, what we mean, at first, without saying anything. And then we just said, "Oh..that's also going on my mind..." We often said that punch line. As what happened for about a week ago, I was wondering to have new bookshelves since my-aunt's-bookshelves-that-she-left-at-home already fulled with books (almost comics and teen-lits). No space left anymore for my new books that already . Then I saw there's discount for bookshelves at mall, but I still kept it by myself, not directly talking to my mom because I planned to buy it by myself. When my money already collected, I'd ask my mom to accompany me to bring the bookshelves home. That's my plan.
Few days later, I saw my books hoarded under my bed, on the table, on the cabinet, such a mess! My mom started grumbling (it's not a mom if no grumbling at all, isn't it? ;)) ) to tidy my books up. I thought it's time to say what I want to say. Then, I told her how if I have new bookshelves and I asked her to accompany me to find new bookshelves. And she said to me that she already planned to buy a new bookshelves, but still wondering the type of bookshelves -- is it from wood, aluminium, wide-big- or small? At least we had the same need : having a new bookshelves. My mom also agreed to see discount of bookshelves at mall. Yippee! When we saw it, my mom was not interested with that bookshelves. Actually I felt the same, but at the moment I wanted to have a bookshelves in hurry. But I thought my mom was right. Finally, we didn't buy it.
Day by the day passed, still my books spread everywhere. I did wanted to have new bookshelves, but to get the "right" bookshelves was not easy. If I was wondering it at all, That made senses because when you buy kinda furniture, it will stay for long-term, and you may choose the best one. Instead, I was busy in the work-day (from Monday to Saturday) so I didn't have enough time to go to the furniture shop, from one shop to another shop, to find the "right" bookshelves.
And that day had come! Few days ago, after work, I entered my home, nothing I felt but tired. But when I entered living room, I saw what I want: bookshelves! I didn't expect I could get it soon, and then my mom said: "That's for your late birthday present. I just bought it!" I remembered I just smiled for that (because I was totally surprised and happy plus tired, all I could do is just smile-- maybe looked like "plain-smile), my mom also complaint for my reaction: "why you looked flat, huh?" Oh, actually I was soo blissful, too blissful enough so that I just expressed "as flat as a plywood" I guess. But most of all, I thank her for this! She is always the best!
It's October & I still got birthday present. Come on! Who's else giving me present? :p
Two shelves already filled by the books-- two shelves left!
